Best if taken daily, 3-5 days before and during your period. The addition to organ meats like pasture-raised chicken liver will support the female body in replenishing vital nutrients lost during menstruation. 

Tastes mild, earthy, & subtly sweet.

Ingredients: *Red raspberry leaf, *nettle, *ginger, *dandelion roots, *oat straw, *passionflower, *dandelion leaves, and *cramp bark.

Instructions: Add 1 tsp to 8 ounces of boiling water. Cover and steep for 20-30 minutes, the longer the better. Consider making a large batch and soaking it all night long.

Red Raspberry Leaf – Nutrient-dense and high in antioxidants. Supporting the tone of the uterus as well as addressing any digestive issues that come along with menses. It can also relieve pelvic pain issues making it a safe and effective herb for PMS.

Nettle – Nutrient-packed and anti-inflammatory. High in iron, vitamins C, A, E, & K, magnesium, calcium, silica, and potassium, to name a few. Nettle supports the body in many ways but was chosen for it’s high iron content, helping the body replenish what’s lost during menstruation.

Ginger – Increasing circulation and moving fluid down and out of the body, helping the body shed all that no longer serves it. If you experience brown spotting many days after your period, Ginger will help move out the stagnated blood. It also relieves nausea, and digestive issues like bloating, and relieves pain from cramping and headaches.

Dandelion Roots & Leaves – Before, during, and after menstruation the body is processing many hormones, putting a burden on the liver. In comes dandelion with its liver loving action! It also helps flush out excess water from the body. High in potassium, magnesium, and other trace minerals.

Oat Straw – Anti-depressant, reduces spasms, and overall nervous system tonic. Oats are used to calm an overactive nervous system resulting in stress, anxiety, insomnia, and exhaustion. High in vitamins and minerals to support overall health and wellness.

Passionflower - Called "meditation in a cup" and for good reason! This herb is calming to the mind and body, as it's a mild sedative. Particularly helpful when circular thinking keeps you awake at night or even during the day. Passionflower helps to reduce anxiety and promotes a calm, clear mind.

Cramp Bark – The name says it all! On top of its use for relieving menstrual cramping and general muscle tension, it also helps to tone the uterus. Making it a wonderful ally during menstruation. Please note I have used small amounts in this blend. If you suffer from intense period pain you may want to consider supplementing.
